REVISITING PUKIJAM BY QUILLA CONSTANCE (QC)

Following Quilla Constance’s solo exhibition Pukijam at 198 contemporary Arts & Learning in 2015 (funded by Arts Council England and curated by Maria Kheirkhah) – QC’s video from this show (also titled) Pukijam has screened widely across the UK and overseas, at venues such as: Van Abbemuseum, ICA, Autograph ABP, Jerwood Arts, the Freud Museum, The Kendrew Barn: St John’s College Oxford, Tate Exchange: Tate Modern, and most recently MOCA London’s Focus Zoom – an online lockdown event which provided an opportunity to enter into conversations which might provoke positive change – especially in the context of Covid 19 and Black Lives Matter.
