STEP UP is a community learning programme delivered by 198 and Photofusion for Lambeth Adult Learning. Our courses are for adults aged 19+ who live in Lambeth and who are on a low wage or unemployed. We run courses in 10 week blocks three times a year in Photography, Art and Design and Film and Video. The courses have been designed to strengthen and extend participants creative practice as well as supporting progression into employment in the arts and creative industries or further and higher education.
During each 10-week course you will get the chance to connect and network while learning new skills. Our courses take place in the education studio at 198 which houses an iMac computer suite and other facilities and in the education room and darkrooms at Photofusion. Courses are led by experienced trained tutors in a friendly and welcoming environment. Refreshments are provided.
