Curated by Francine Mabondo for 198, this event is an opportunity to meet painter Ben F. Jones, discuss the work and have an embodied experience of the exhibition ‘The Bigger Picture’. This is also a chance to explore the place of the body as medium in relation to black narratives. The Bigger Picture Quartet Performance is an improvised movement piece created by dancers Melissa Bravo, Lawrence Brown, Sophie Halstead and Zara Sands and performed on orchestra piece ‘Bolero’ (1928) Ravel.
